본 방침은 Sapio(이하 “앱”)가 이용자의 개인정보를 어떻게 수집·이용·보관·보호하는지 설명합니다. 앱을 사용함으로써 본 방침에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

  • 계정 정보 — 앱은 Firebase Authentication을 사용합니다. 게스트(익명) 사용 시 임의의 익명 식별자가 생성되며, Google 또는 Kakao 로그인 시 이름·이메일·프로필 식별자가 제공될 수 있습니다.
  • 학습 콘텐츠 — 이용자가 입력한 질문 텍스트, 음성 입력을 변환한 텍스트, 풀이를 위해 첨부한 사진. 이 콘텐츠는 답변 생성을 위해 서버(Firebase Cloud Functions)를 거쳐 AI 처리업체로 전송됩니다.
  • 구매 정보 — 구독 및 횟수 충전 결제는 Google Play 결제를 통해 처리됩니다. 실제 결제수단 정보는 Google이 처리하며, 앱은 구독 상태·영수증 등 최소 정보만 확인합니다.
  • 광고·분석 정보 — 무료 이용 시 Google AdMob 광고가 표시되며, 광고 식별자 등 표준 정보가 처리될 수 있습니다. 앱 개선을 위해 Google Analytics/Firebase가 익명 통계를 수집합니다.
  • 기기 내 저장 — 선택한 언어, 표시 이름, 사용 횟수 등 환경설정은 이용자 기기 내부(로컬 저장소)에 보관됩니다.

2. 정보의 이용 목적

  • AI 석학과의 질의응답·학습 기능 제공
  • 로그인·계정 식별 및 구독/사용량 관리
  • 광고 게재(무료 이용자) 및 서비스 품질 개선
  • 오류 진단, 보안, 부정 사용 방지

3. 제3자 제공 및 처리 위탁

앱은 다음 서비스 제공자를 통해 일부 데이터를 처리합니다. 각 제공자는 자체 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.

  • Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Analytics, Google Play 결제) — 인증, 서버, 광고, 분석, 결제
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — 입력한 질문·음성변환 텍스트·첨부 사진을 받아 답변을 생성하는 AI 처리
  • Kakao — 카카오 로그인 사용 시 인증

학습 콘텐츠(질문·사진 등)는 답변 생성 목적에 한해 사용되며, 광고 타겟팅에 사용되지 않습니다.

4. 사진 및 음성

카메라/사진은 이용자가 문제 풀이를 위해 직접 첨부할 때만 사용되며, 해당 사진은 답변 생성을 위해 AI 처리업체로 전송됩니다. 음성 입력은 텍스트로 변환되어 질문으로 사용됩니다. 앱은 이용자가 직접 첨부·입력한 경우 외에 사진·음성을 임의로 수집하지 않습니다.

5. 보관 및 파기

계정·사용량 정보는 서비스 제공에 필요한 기간 동안 보관되며, 이용자가 계정을 삭제하면 관련 정보가 합리적인 기간 내에 삭제됩니다. 기기 내 저장 정보는 앱 삭제 시 함께 제거됩니다.

6. 아동의 개인정보

본 앱은 일반 교육용이며 만 14세 미만 아동을 주된 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 해당 연령 미만 아동의 경우 보호자의 동의 하에 이용해야 하며, 앱은 관련 법령이 정한 범위를 벗어나 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 보안

전송 구간 암호화(HTTPS) 등 합리적인 보호조치를 적용합니다. 다만 인터넷을 통한 전송·저장에 절대적 보안은 보장될 수 없습니다.

8. 이용자의 권리

이용자는 자신의 개인정보에 대한 열람·정정·삭제를 요청할 수 있으며, 앱 내 계정 로그아웃/삭제 또는 앱 삭제로 데이터 처리를 중단할 수 있습니다. 광고 개인화는 기기 설정에서 조정할 수 있습니다.

본 방침은 필요 시 개정될 수 있으며, 변경 시 본 페이지에 게시합니다.

This policy explains how Sapio (the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account — The App uses Firebase Authentication. Guests receive an anonymous identifier; signing in with Google or Kakao may provide your name, email, and profile identifier.
  • Learning content — The questions you type, text transcribed from voice input, and photos you attach for help. This content is sent through our server (Firebase Cloud Functions) to an AI provider to generate answers.
  • Purchases — Subscriptions and credit top-ups are processed via Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google; the App only verifies subscription status/receipts.
  • Ads & analytics — Free use shows Google AdMob ads, which may process standard advertising identifiers. Google Analytics/Firebase collects anonymous usage statistics to improve the App.
  • On-device storage — Preferences such as language, display name, and usage counts are stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide the AI tutoring / Q&A features
  • For sign-in, account identification, and subscription/usage management
  • To show ads (free users) and improve service quality
  • For diagnostics, security, and abuse prevention

3. Third Parties & Processors

The App processes some data through the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Analytics, Google Play Billing) — authentication, backend, ads, analytics, payments
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — receives your questions, transcribed voice, and attached photos to generate answers
  • Kakao — authentication when you use Kakao login

Learning content (questions, photos) is used only to generate answers and is not used for ad targeting.

4. Photos & Voice

Camera/photos are used only when you attach an image to get help; that image is sent to the AI provider to generate an answer. Voice input is converted to text and used as your question. The App does not collect photos or voice except what you choose to attach or enter.

5. Retention & Deletion

Account and usage data are kept as long as needed to provide the service; if you delete your account, related data is removed within a reasonable period. On-device data is removed when you uninstall the App.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is for general education and is not primarily directed to children under the applicable minimum age. Where required, a guardian’s consent is needed, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data beyond what the law permits.

7. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, and may stop processing by signing out/deleting your account or uninstalling the App. Ad personalization can be adjusted in your device settings.

We may update this policy and will post changes on this page.
